Tricolor Stonecrop - Sedum spurium 'Tricolor'
We just can't seem to resist the tricoloring on this groundcover! The pink, cream and greens are just the prettiest combination. Great for larger miniature gardens or for in-ground gardens. The colors look great paired with anything blue-green too, like Wooly Thyme and/or Blue Pygmy Juniper.
The branches will reach out and try to root along the ground. Shear them back to keep it bushy or let it go to spread and make more plants. Pink flowers in the early spring to last summer. Shear back after flowering after you see the new growth coming up from the base of the plants and the cycle continues. (See right-most photo.) Great for cuttings to use for small pots too.
